CANDLE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
2. Never use water to extinguish a candle.
3. Ensure wicks are upright and trimmed during use and each time candle is relit.
4. Do not burn a Large Candle for less than 1 hour or more than 4 hours at a time. Do not burn a Medium Candle for less than 1 hour or more than 3 hours at a time. Do not burn a Small Candle for less than 1/2 hour or more than 2 hours at a time.
5. Stop burning when (1/2 inch) of un-melted wax remains in the bottom of the glass.
6. Never move a burning candle. Ensure candle is extinguished, wax is solid and jar is cold before handling.
7. Glass may become hot. Burn candle on an appropriate flat heat-resistant surface.
8. Avoid using in drafty areas, near an open window, air duct or fan.
9. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
10. Do not use lid to extinguish candle.
CANDLE CARE GUIDE
How to get the best performance out of your Scented Candle.
1. Prevent soot from forming on the glass by keeping wicks properly placed and trimmed.
2. Never allow the candle flame to come in contact with the side of the glass.
3. Do not use if glass is cracked, chipped or broken.
4. If candle has multiple wicks, they must all be lit every time the candle is used.
5. Never introduce liquids or foreign objects into the candle and keep it free of wick trimmings, matches and any flammable materials.
6. If the glass becomes blackened while burning, extinguish candle, allow to cool and clean with a dry paper towel.
7. When not in use, keep candle covered to avoid dust build-up.
8. Use a candlesnuffer to properly extinguish a candle flame. If not available, blow gently and steadily on the flame until it is extinguished.
9. Container candle burn times will vary. Fragrance, colour, burning habits and environmental conditions affect the time a candle will last.
What is a burn memory?
When lighting a soy candle for the very first time it’s important to allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This first burn should last as long as it takes to do this. If you don’t allow the wax to pool on the first burn, you may get wax remaining along the sides of your jar.
Why does my candle look different to some other candles?
Our candles are hand poured, not mass produced. Although all effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be different. When using completely natural soy wax, sometimes you may notice darker patches or wet spots on your clear jar candles. This is not a fault, simply a small blemish where the wax has not adhered to the glass 100%. This does not effect the candle in any way. Commercially made candles are also prone to wet spots. If it is of a concern, we recommend you select a coloured jar for your candle. The top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven. This is a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.
How to store a candle correctly
Candles are sensitive to temperature and sunlight.
Store your candles upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
And if you notice your candles changing colour if you leave them out on the window ledge or out on display-the most common reason for discolouration of candle colour is due to the ultraviolet effects of light, so be mindful of this too.

Each claim is assessed thoroughly on a case by case basis and we endeavour to ensure the outcome is satisfactory and fair and reasonable for all parties.
As the majority of our products are made to order, we do not offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind. Please choose carefully. We want you to be happy with your purchase.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped via Australia Post or Courier, with tracking available on your order. We take care to pack your order securely and carefully for you. Once your item get shipped it becomes your property and responsibility. If a product arrives damaged or gets misplaced in transit, please contact us so we can assist you. Refunds or replacements for products damaged in transit will be assessed. No refunds will be given for missing items in transit. We will provide you with all the necessary information to make a claim via Aust Post or Courier. We will assist you with this process in full if this should happen.
